Funky Elephant 14

The following gallery contains photographs from the 14th Funky Elephant festival at Tavastia, Helsinki – 17.-20.4.2008. Unfortunately at the time I did not realise to take note of the artists except for Giant Räbät. I gratefully accept hints and info about the bands and artists depicted on the photographs.

Over the years I have covered a few Finnish bands and recognise among others Linda Fredriksson on the saxophone, known for instance for being part of Mopo, a band I have seen a couple of times and covered maybe once or twice at festivals too (eg. HelsinkiFestival 2012), Abdissa Assefa on the drums (Itetune) and Jontti & Shaka.
