The Baltic Sea is frozen – at least in the Helsinki archipelago and thus expanded the area we can explore on foot, some on cross country skis and others by bike. I couldn’t resist and grabbed my camera and drone and went out too. I started from Aurinkolahti beach but didn’t get too far as I had to circumvent ice hole fishers who were sitting in various sized clusters. Eventually I got as far as Kalliosaarenluoto, an islet 2.35 km offshore. There I took my drone for a spin and a few shots with it.
Enjoy!
