Winter swimming in Helsinki
I started with this hobby in late autumn of 2019. Although I had occasionally been dipping myself in cold and very cold water previously, the bug hadn’t truly bitten me before that. Now I go at least once a week, preferably more often.
Luckily Helsingin Latu (HL) has a winter swimming spot quite close to where I live and so I joined HL and acquired the right to use the heated container which acts as the changing room.
Onto this page I will add photos and videos from my various swims through the winter swimming season.
